Welcome to the Last Great Day, 2026, and it is indeed a great day! This is a day that sums up the plan for all humanity. This is the day that provides so many answers regarding God, regarding His Plan, and what He is doing right now. It’s an amazing thing!
Let’s go to Lev. 23. We’re going to start there, where there’s a Commandment to keep this day and keep it Holy. We’re going to see some aspects about this day, because this day is a very, very special day. Though it is barely mentioned, that’s what we’re going to see in Lev. 23:
We have a command to come before God in this day and to keep it Holy. We’re going to see the characteristics of this day in the Commandment in:
Leviticus 23:34––God says: “‘Speak to the children of Israel, saying, “The fifteenth day of this seventh month shall be the Feast of Tabernacles for seven days to the LORD. On the first day shall be a Holy convocation. You shall do no servile work therein”’” (vs 34-35).
We kept that; we know that that was the Feast of Tabernacles. That’s what He’s going to say. But in the first day is a Sabbath! It says, “You shall do no servile work therein.” We know that this chapter outlines all of the Feasts of God. It starts with the Sabbath, because it is the foundation of all of them!
But then in v 36: “Seven days you shall offer an offering made by fire to the LORD....” Because there are seven days in the Feast. That’s what we just read in v 34! There are seven days of the Feast of Tabernacles; that’s what we have kept and that’s what ended yesterday. The seventh day ended, and that’s the Feast of Tabernacles; but there’s one other day!
Verse 36: “...On the eighth day shall be a Holy convocation to you. And you shall offer an offering made by fire to the LORD. It is a solemn assembly. And you shall do no servile work therein. These are the Feasts of the LORD, which you shall proclaim to be Holy convocations to offer an offering made by fire to the LORD, a burnt offering and a grain offering, a sacrifice, and drink offerings, everything on its day” (vs 36-37).
He says, 36: “Seven days you shall offer an offering made by fire to the LORD....”
We kept the seven days of the Feast of Tabernacles. The first one, it says that it’s a no work shall be done. But it says “...On the eighth day shall be a Holy convocation...” (v 36). It’s in addition to, is one more day! It’s called the eighth day!
We’re also going to see where the name, the Last Great Day comes from. But here, it calls it the eighth day! We are also commanded to come, to have a Holy convocation, and:
it is a solemn assembly
to offer an offering made by fire to the LORD
to do no servile work therein
Because it is an annual Sabbath!
Today, it actually falls on the weekly Sabbath in this year, 2026. But in other years, it may fall another day of the week. That’s an annual Sabbath, a day of rest! We are also commanded to bring an offering to the Lord. That’s what we’re going to do. We’re going to pause and collect an offering.
All the offerings are used to serve the brethren, and to preach the gospel to all nations. We’re going to see the tremendous meaning of this day. because this is the day of salvation for all the nations, and everyone who has not yet been called into God’s wonderful plan!

Welcome back, brethren. Today is the Last Great Day. This is a day that answers so many questions about the Plan of God for humanity, about what is going to happen to all those:
who have never heard the name of Christ
who have never been called to His Truth
who have never even heard the name Jesus mentioned in their lifetime
This is a very, very important day. But let’s go to John 7, because we’re going to see exactly what happened when Jesus was going to keep this Feast.
We’re going to see where the Last Great Day name comes from in John 7:2. We’re going to follow along here and see what Jesus did, and what He said when He was going to keep this Feast.
John 7:2––the Apostle John tells us: “Now the Jews’ Feast of Tabernacles was near.”
He’s talking about the Feast of Tabernacles. That’s the context that He was saying. He puts it as the Jews, because they were the ones who were keeping it and celebrating it.
There’s nothing wrong with it being the Feast of the Jews, in addition to the Feast of God, because that’s what they really are. They’re the Feast of God. But here is just the term so that people would place it and understand what this Feast was. It’s the Feast of Tabernacles, it was near.
Jesus’ brothers were telling Him, ‘Hey, go up to the Feast and show Yourself, because if You are Who You truly say You are, You should tell everybody; You should manifest Yourself.
Verse 8––Jesus answers His brothers and He tells them, “‘You go up to this Feast. I am not going up to this Feast now, for My time has not yet been fulfilled.’ And after saying these things to them, He remained in Galilee. But after His brothers had gone up, then Jesus also went up to the Feast, not openly, but as it were in secret” (vs 8-10).
Jesus Himself went to Jerusalem and went to the Feast, the Feast of Tabernacles.
In v 14 it tells us more details about what He was doing at this Feast.
Verse 14: “But then, about the middle of the Feast, Jesus went up into the temple and was teaching.”
That’s what He did. About the middle of the Feast, He went actually into the temple. First, He was like in secret. He did go. He didn’t want to tell everybody. His brothers were encouraging Him to do this, but He said in:
Verse 6: “...‘My time has not yet come...’” But then He was teaching (v 14).
Verse 15: “And the Jews were amazed, saying, ‘How does this Man know letters, having never been schooled?’”
It was an amazing thing, because it was His Father that had taught Him everything.
He was always teaching Jesus
He was always with Him
He was always telling Him what to say
They were amazed, because God is amazing, and His Word is amazing! He will always show us something else, something more deep about His Word!
That’s why they couldn’t understand ‘having never been in schooled,’ because Jesus was not in their schools.
He was not taught by the Jews
He was not taught in the rabbinical schools.

Verse 37––which talks specifically about this day: “Now, in the last day...”
Remember, that’s what we saw, we saw Feast of Tabernacles for seven days, and now this is the eighth day––that is the last day! He wasn’t talking about the last day of the Feast of Tabernacles, because it says,
Verse 37: “Now, in the last day, the Great Day of the Feast...”
How is it a ‘Great Day’ of the Feast? Because:
it is the last one
it is the eighth
it is a Holy assembly
it is a day, a Sabbath Day of rest, where you shall do no servile work therein
We read that. The seventh day is not an annual Sabbath, the seventh day of the Feast of Tabernacles.
It only talks about the first day of the Feast of Tabernacles! The last day, because it says eighth, that is the one where He said these things.
“...in the last day, the Great Day of the Feast...” is where the name, the Last Great Day, because it’s both.

It’s all of that!
“...Jesus stood and called out, saying, ‘IF anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink.’” (v 37).
This is very important because He says, ‘IF anyone...” This day is the day that provides answers for anyone, for all those who have never been called! We’re going to see that it provides the answer to so many other questions that many people have:
about Christianity
about the Bible
about Jesus Himself
about God and His plan
It says here, “...‘IF anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. The one who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water’” (vs 37-38). The explanation is right here in
Verse 39: “But this He spoke concerning the Spirit, which those who believed in Him would soon receive; for the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.”
We’re going to see how God is going to give His Spirit so that:
people understand
people have the opportunity to really know and obey God
and be part of His Family
and be part of His Kingdom
But what we are seeing here is that there’s one requirement: v 38: “The one who believes in Me...”
Rev. 20:4. We’re going to read about the end-time, and what’s going to happen after the fulfillment of the Day of Atonement, when Satan is locked up in the abyss.
Revelation 20:4: “And I [John] saw thrones; and they that sat upon them, and judgment was given to them; and I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for the testimony of Jesus, and for the Word of God, and those who did not worship the beast or his image, and did not receive the mark in their foreheads or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.”
We know that’s a Millennium, and we know that’s what the Feast of Tabernacles represents, as has been discussed during this Feast.
In v 5, once again, just like we saw in Lev. 23:36, that is only half of the verse that talks about this day. Here is only half of the verse that talks about this day. It’s actually in a parenthetical statement. Again, it almost seems like an afterthought. It seems like an insert. It seems like something hidden, because it is. It’s a great mystery about the Plan of God.
Verse 5: “(But the rest of the dead did not live again until the thousand years were completed.)....”
That’s what this day represents. The Last Great Day when the rest of the dead live again after the thousand years.
Because the other half of the verse has another sentence.
“...This is the first resurrection” (v 5).
Not the rest of the dead. That’s not the first resurrection. That’s why it’s in parentheses.
Because the first resurrection is who he’s talking about in v 4. It’s all the ones that were beheaded, that died for the Word of God, that they did not worship the beast, etc.
But this parenthetical statement, half a verse, just like we saw in Lev. 23:36, just half a verse, is the one that gives us the clue to so many things in the Plan of God!
Verse 5: “(But the rest of the dead did not live again until the thousand years were completed.)....”
This tells us that those who obey and loved God, those that are the firstfruits, those that are in the first resurrection, they live and reign with Christ a thousand years, “(But the rest of the dead did not live again until the thousand years were completed.)....”
Who are the rest of the dead? Everybody else! Every other person that has died, except those that are thrown in the Lake of Fire, the Beast and the False Prophet. Except them, everybody else that had died will live again! “...the rest of the dead did not live again...”

we’re going to see it from the perspective of what Jesus said
Jesus said something very important concerning this day, and not just this day, but the Plan of God in general in John 5.
We’re going to see that Jesus declared what’s going to happen. He declared, because the Father told Him that this is the way it’s going to be. They have a plan. They have an agreement. This day is the day that answers so many questions with regards to the rest of the world! It is an amazing thing, because this is all to the glory of God!

it’s the culmination of the Plan of God
It’s going to be so fantastic. But we’re going to see how Jesus talked about it in John 5:25. Jesus is saying these things. Let’s pay attention to the very words of Jesus, because He says:
John 5:25––Jesus said: “Truly, truly I say to you, the hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God; and those who hear shall live.”
He was talking about a spiritual thing, because the dead cannot hear; we know that.
That’s what he says in Ecclesiastes, the dead know nothing! The dead, spiritually speaking, is what Jesus was talking about. “...the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God...” because He said, “...and now is, when...” and the Son of God was right there, He was speaking! That’s why He went about the middle of the Feast.
He was teaching. That’s why He cried out in the last day of the Feast, because He was the Word of God! The Word became flesh, so He’s saying these things. He’s speaking spiritually.
“...now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God; and those who hear shall live” (v 25).
Then he goes now back again into the plan. He starts to outline what the Plan of God––the Father with Jesus Christ, under that covenant that They made––what that entails.
Verse 26: “For even as the Father has life in Himself, so also has He given to the Son to have life in Himself; and has also given Him authority to execute judgment... [keep that word in mind] ...because He is the Son of man” (vs 26-27).
Now he tells us a little bit more of the details of how this is actually going to come about.
Verse 28: “Do not wonder at this, for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves shall hear His voice and shall come forth: those who have practiced good unto a resurrection of life...” (vs 28-29)––that’s what we just saw in Rev. 20:4:
those who have practiced good
those who have not bowed down to the image of the Beast
those who would die for the Word of God
those who have the testimony of God
Those are the ones who are resurrected into a resurrection of life!
In Revelation, He actually tells us that they live and reign with Christ for a thousand years. That’s the resurrection of life! Let’s pay attention to the second part of this verse, because Jesus says,
“...and those who have practiced evil unto a resurrection of judgment” (v 29).
Not condemnation, not death. It does not say that. It can certainly result in that. But it says,
“...unto a resurrection of judgment” (v 29).
That is key; that’s why He said that He was the ‘Son of man.’ He had authority given by God the Father to judge!
All judgment, authority to execute judgment, because He is the Son of man! This is amazing because what He was saying is:
‘I’m living the human experience. I know what it is to be a man, so I can judge’ because He was God in the flesh! Now he says:
Verse 28: “Do not wonder at this, for the hour is coming in which ALL who are in the graves... [this is exactly what we read, the rest of the dead] ...shall... [What happened?] ...hear His voice and shall come forth...” (vs 28-29). He’s talking in third person about Himself, the voice of the Son of man!
“...those who have practiced good unto a resurrection of life... [as we read in Rev. 4:20] ...and those who have practiced evil unto a resurrection of judgment” (v 29).
We’re going to read in Revelation a little bit more about the judgment later on. But first, I would like for us to understand just a little bit more about timing. Because people think that because He says ‘ALL,’ then all shall hear the voice, that He’s only going to call once. But that’s not the case, because there’s going to be times, and we saw that! We saw not all are going to be resurrected at the same time!

But we’re going to see that the rest of the dead are going to come up together!
Matt. 12:38––we’re going to see evidence in here in the Gospels, that Jesus Himself talked about this. This is not something that we’re making up ourselves; this is provable!
These are amazing things that Jesus says. He doesn’t necessarily elaborate on these things, because just as we read in Lev. 23 and in Rev. 20, the meaning of this Last Great Day is not out in the open! We’re going to see that God purposely did it this way!
Matthew 12:38: “Then some of the scribes and Pharisees answered, saying, ‘Master, we desire to see a sign from You.’
After they asked him that they started to see a sign that he was truly the Messiah who was to come, because that’s Who He said He was.
Verse 39: “And He answered and said to them, ‘A wicked and adulterous generation seeks after a sign, but no sign shall be given to it except the sign of Jonah the prophet. For just as Jonah was in the belly of the whale three days and three nights, in like manner the Son of man shall be in the heart of the earth three days and three nights” (vs 39-40).
Basically saying, IF you believe in a Friday crucifixion and a Sunday resurrection, you’re worshiping a false Jesus, because there’s no three days and no three nights! That’s the only sign He gave. That’s what He’s saying.
But then on account of that, because they were asking for a sign, they did not believe Him based on:
the miracles that He had done
the words that he had spoken
all the ones whom He healed
all the ones whom He fed
They didn’t believe Him!
Then He pronounces His judgment, which gives us insight into the Plan of God. Then He says:
Verse 41: “The men of Nineveh shall stand up in the judgment...”
Remember that word? Jesus has the judgment:
ALL those who had done evil to a resurrection of judgment!
Verse 41: “The men of Nineveh shall stand up in the judgment with this generation...”
They will stand up at the same time. When? After the thousand years have been completed!
They will “...stand up... with this generation and shall condemn it, because they repented at the proclamation of Jonah; and behold, a greater than Jonah is here” (v 41).

that was God in the flesh
that was the Son of God
that was the Messiah Who was prophesied and promised that He was going to appear
We just want to point out that it is the rest of the dead and they all do come together, come up together after the thousand years have been completed, because it says, ‘the men of Nineveh.’
When was Nineveh? When was the book of Jonah written? About 798, almost 800BC.; 800 years before Christ was there, that’s when the men of Nineveh lived! It says ‘the men of Nineveh shall stand up in the judgment with this generation’ at the same time.
An 800 year gap? It doesn’t matter because he already prophesied it in Revelation: ‘the rest of the dead.’
Verse 42: “The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with this generation and shall condemn it, because she came from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and behold, a greater than Solomon is here.”
When was Solomon’s time? More than 200 years removed from the men of Nineveh and about a thousand years before Christ was born!
We see that there’s a thousand year span, a hundred year span, and He said “The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with this generation...”
You have groups of people at the same time, specific people, and they’re all with that generation. He says:
“...and [she] shall condemn it, because she came from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and behold, a greater than Solomon is here” (v 42).
Again, ‘the one who believes in Me out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water!’ That’s what we’re going to see about the Spirit of God and the meaning and the fulfillment of the meaning of this day!
But right now we have seen that it’s hidden! The meaning of this Last Great Day is hidden in two half verses! That Jesus spoke and told us about:
judgment
the Day of Judgment
the resurrection
who’s going to come up
when are they going to come up
We see all of these details about this great and wonderful day! But as we said, it was hidden!
We’re going to see something else that Jesus said and did, because this also has to do with what we’re talking about in the great meaning of this day.
Matthew 11:20––Matthew narrating: “Then He began to castigate the cities in which most of His miracles had taken place, because they did not repent.”
Jesus is saying this: 21: “Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the miracles that have taken place in you had taken place in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes. But I tell you, it shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon in the Day of Judgment than for you” (vs 21-22).
What is that? That is the Last Great Day! The meaning of this day is that period of judgment! He’s talking about Tyre and Sidon compared to these cities: Chorazin and Bethsaida.
Verse 23: “And you, Capernaum, who have been exalted to heaven, shall be cast down to the grave... [as a city] ...For if the miracles that have taken place in you had taken place in Sodom, it would have remained until this day. But I tell you, it shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom in the day of judgment than for you” (vs 23-24).
Why? Because the land of Sodom will also rise up in the Day of Judgment! We read that ALL who are in the graves will hear His voice and shall awake; they shall be resurrected!
We’ve seen that there’s one part before the Millennium to a resurrection of life and the other part after the thousand years have been completed to a resurrection of judgment!
Verse 25: “At that time Jesus answered and said, ‘I praise You, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and intelligent, and have revealed them to babes. Yes, Father, for it was well pleasing in Your sight to do this’” (vs 25-26).
Yes, Father, for it was well-pleasing in your sight to do this. Amazing! It was well-pleasing in the sight of the Father to hide these things from the wise and intelligent! That’s why most people don’t know about the Last Great Day. They don’t know. Why is it that God would do the things that He would do and say the things that He would say? Because it doesn’t compute! The image that people have of God is not necessarily a complete picture of God.
We’re going to see that. We’re going to examine a couple of examples where God says things that for a human being to comprehend with human intelligence and human feelings and emotions, it doesn’t necessarily make sense.
Let’s go to Deut. 7 to see one of those examples. We’re going to examine the example of all of those people, all those people that were going to be expelled from the ‘promised land’ in order to bring Israel in it!
This has caused a lot of questions among Christian circles. That’s the question that many atheists and many people that are antagonistic to Christianity ask. Quite frankly,
without the Last Great Day, there is not an answer
without the meaning of this day, there is not an answer that makes sense
But with knowing the meaning of this day, we not only can make sense of this, but also can see beyond into:
the thoughts and the heart of God
the intent of God’s Plan
the purpose of God’s Plan
the wonderful things that He’s planning to do for all mankind
Not only for those who have not been called, yet! It’s an amazing thing what God will do. These are some difficult things to understand from a human perspective, but we have to seek to understand from God’s perspective! Because He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life! Jesus Christ said that He is, and God the Father is the God of ALL the earth,
not just of Israel
not just of the Jews
not just of the Church
That’s why this day is so amazing. That’s why He calls it ‘great.’ Because in God’s eyes, this day is great, it represents the final period of judgment for those who have practiced evil
because they didn’t know Him
because He had not revealed Himself to them
Deuteronomy 7:1: “When the LORD your God shall bring you into the land where you go to possess it and has cast out many nations before you—the Hittites, and the Girgashites, and the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, seven nations greater and mightier than you. And the LORD your God shall deliver them up to you, you shall crush them, and utterly destroy them” (vs 1-2).
Did you get that? Complete annihilation of these peoples!
“...You shall make no covenant with them nor show mercy to them” (v 2).
They were to completely eliminate them. We’re going to see in more detail what that really meant. Here is the reason why:
Verse 3: “Nor shall you make marriages with them. You shall not give your daughter to his son, nor shall you take his daughter to your son, for they will turn away your sons from following Me so that they may serve other gods. Then the anger of the LORD will be kindled against you and will destroy you suddenly” (vs 3-4). It was utter destruction what they were to do.
Deut. 20––to read more about the details. It’s because God wanted Israel to Himself and to Himself alone, not to any other gods. We know that’s what happened to Solomon. It doesn’t matter:
how much money
how much wisdom
how much power you have
anyone can fall prey to deception and to false gods!
God doesn’t want that. He didn’t want that to happen for Israel and His people. That’s why He commanded this. But it’s harsh! It sounds really harsh!
Deut. 20––he’s telling them as background in this chapter, what they were to do with all of the peoples that they encounter on the way to the ‘promised land.’ Basically, a summary of it, I’m paraphrasing: WHEN you come into these other nations, you should declare peace to them. IF they say peace, THEN they shall pay tribute to you. They will pay tribute to you, and they will be your servants.
But IF they don’t, THEN you shall smite them, and you shall kill all the men with the edge of the sword; that’s what he says in:
Deuteronomy 20:13: “And when the LORD your God has delivered it into your hands, you shall strike every male of it with the edge of the sword. But the women, and the little ones, and the animals, and all that is in the city, all the spoil of it, you shall take to yourself. And you shall eat the spoil of your enemies, which the LORD your God has given you” (vs 13-14).
Meaning, fine, kill the men of war, take over, that’s fine. The women, the children, that’s fine. Because these were not the nations that were so polluted with their idols, and they were not set for punishment by God. That’s why he said that they could do that!
Verse 15: “So you shall do to all the cities, which are very far off from you, which are not of the cities of these nations.” These seven nations, as we read in Deut. 7:1
Verse 16: “But of the cities of these people, which the LORD your God gives you for an inheritance... [here’s the instruction]: ...you shall save alive nothing that breathes.”
That sounds harsh! The little ones, it’s talking about babies, suckling babies, talk about all the animals, talk about everything devoted to destruction.
“...you shall save alive nothing that breathes. But you shall utterly destroy them: the Hittites, and the Amorites, the Canaanites, and the Perizzites, the Hivites and the Jebusites; as the LORD your God has commanded you” (vs 16-17). Why?
Verse 18: “So that they may not teach you to do according to all their abominations which they have done to their gods. So you would sin against the LORD your God.”
Human logic would tell us, ‘Don’t kill the babies, just teach them to fear the right God.’ When God says something, it’s because:
He knows the end from the beginning
He knows there’s a plan
He knows He has this Last Great Day
where everybody, the rest of the dead, are going to have an opportunity:
to know God
to be saved
to be taught by God
Let’s not take things into our own hands that don’t belong to us. He said, do not do that! Do not spare. We can say ‘Teach them, do that.’
Human logic would say, how is an animal going to teach you to do? We’re going to see that that’s actually what happened later on, sadly! They did not obey the instructions of God!
But apart from the meaning of this day, this sounds really harsh. How is it that God commanded to completely eliminate a whole group of people?
that sounds like ethnic cleansing
that sounds like a genocide
it literally is a genocide
How do you have an answer to that without the meaning of this day? You cannot! No Christian can!
This is amazing that God has revealed to us that we are babes, that we are nothing. We’re the least of anybody. We’re the weak and base things!
Deut. 25, because God actually told them that this was going to happen, that they were going to have to eliminate another group of people. Not only these seven nations, which they did not do, and that was their downfall! There’s another group of people God said to eliminate completely.
Deuteronomy 25:17: “Remember what Amalek did to you by the way when you came forth out of Egypt, how he met you by the way and struck those of you who lagged behind and all the feeble behind you when you were faint and weary. And he did not fear God. And it shall be when the LORD your God has given you rest from all your enemies all around in the land which the LORD your God gives you for an inheritance to possess it, you shall blot out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven. You shall not forget” (vs 17-19).
Blot out the remembrance did not happen!
1-Samuel––we’re familiar with this passage, but it’s important to read it again in the context of what we’re talking about for The Last Great Day. It tells us with even more details who they were to kill and they were to kill every single one of them and their animals! They were to completely eliminate them!
That is an amazing thing that without this day there is no real explanation, possible explanation. How is He a God of love when He commands people to do this?
1-Samuel 15:2––this is where God comes to Saul and He tells Him this is what you’re going to do. “Thus says the LORD of hosts, ‘I will punish Amalek for that which he did to Israel, how he set against him in the way when he came up from Egypt. Now, go and strike Amalek, and completely destroy all that they have, and do not spare them. But kill both man and woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and donkey’” (vs 2-3).
This is everything and everyone! Kill them all! That’s what God said.

this really doesn’t compute with the character of God!
BUT God knows the physical life is not an end to itself. It’s just a means to an end. When He has a time and when He has a purpose, He will bring it to pass because those who have done evil will also rise to a resurrection of judgment, not necessarily of death. yet. We’re going to see that.
Verse 13––this is to show that God meant it and it was not a figure of speech. That’s what some apologists have actually said, that ‘it’s a figure of speech.’ They can say, ‘Oh, the whole country went to...’––NO! NO! NO!
when God says ‘the whole country,’
when He says ‘every single one’ and ‘every single animal’
He literally means it!
We’re going to read these verses to prove that that is true, because God was displeased with Saul for not having done this.
Verse 13: “And Samuel came to Saul. And Saul said to him, ‘You are blessed of the LORD. I have performed the Commandment of the LORD.’ And Samuel said, ‘What then is this bleating of the flock in my ears? And what is the sound of the herd which I hear?” (vs 13-14).
He was literal about every single animal and every person!
Verse 15: “And Saul said, ‘They have brought them from the Amalekites, for the people spared the best of the sheep and of the oxen to sacrifice to the LORD your God. And the rest we have completely destroyed.’”
He understood the instructions, he just didn’t carry them out exactly that way.
So, he understood the instructions, he just did not carry them out exactly that way.
Verse 16: “And Samuel said to Saul, ‘Stay and I will tell you what the LORD has said to me tonight.’ And he said to him, ‘Speak on.’ And Samuel said, ‘When you were little in your own sight, did you not become the head of the tribes of Israel? And the LORD anointed you king over Israel And the LORD sent you on the way and said, “Go and completely destroy the sinners, the Amalekites, and fight against them until you destroy them”’” (s 16-18).
Verse 19: “Why then did you not obey the voice of the LORD? Why did you fly upon the spoil and do evil in the sight of the LORD?’
Saul couldn’t see it, because from a human perspective, we don’t understand that God has a plan and He’s a wonderful God. He has a wonderful plan. We do not understand that.
Verse 20: “And Saul said to Samuel, ‘Yes, I have obeyed the voice of the LORD...’”:
How is an animal going to teach me false religion?
How is he going to teach me to worship their God?
It was ALL in a cursed thing! God wanted it gone because He knows that all those people who have practiced evil, Jesus said it, would stand up to a resurrection, a judgment after the thousand years are completed!
Verse 20: “And Saul said to Samuel, ‘Yes, I have obeyed the voice of the LORD, and have gone the way which the LORD sent me, and have brought Agag the king of Amalek...”
God said, destroy everybody, including the king! Saul did not do that!
“‘...and have completely destroyed the Amalekites... [except for the king and except for all the cattle] ...But the people took from the spoil, of the flock and herd...” (v 20-21).
You [Saul] were the king, you were supposed to obey and do it thoroughly, complete destruction!
“...the best of the things devoted to destruction...” (v21).
Saul knew that they were devoted to destruction and he did not stop them! He did not command them, ‘I am the king, you have to kill them all, kill all these animals.’ NO! they took the best things:
“...to sacrifice to the LORD, your God, in Gilgal” (v 21).
Verse 22: “And Samuel said, ‘Does the LORD have as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice! To hearken is better than the fat of rams, for rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because you have rejected the Word of the LORD, He has also rejected you from being king!’” (vs 22-23).
This proves that God meant what He said. Literally, every single word. He had a reason and He had a purpose, because He knew He was going to raise them up in the Last Great Day, in the period of judgment, after the thousand years had been completed! God knew He was going to do that.
But Saul did not do that. Without this day, there is no answer to this! How can we reconcile a God that is good, that is merciful and that He says that He is that way Himself? Let’s go to Exo. 34 to read that, what God says about Himself.
Without this day, we cannot comprehend this. People have tried, Christians have tried because:
they believe God
they believe the Word of God
BUT IF it has not been revealed to them, they can’t see this!
It’s an amazing thing not to glory ourselves or anything like that, but just to acknowledge and be thankful to God for this wonderful day and for the hope that this day brings to all humanity, to everyone who has ever lived:
all your family
all your friends
everybody whom you love
but:
they have not had their eyes open, yet
they will in that day
Exo. 34:6––this is what God says about Himself. We’re going to see that there’s harsh things and not just about those sinners and those wicked people, because they were devoted to destruction, because their wickedness had gotten to the full.
That’s what God told Abraham, it’s like they’re going to be sojourners in the land of Egypt for 400 years ‘because the evil of the Amorite has not come to the full.’ They have not developed, yet, to the full, but once they got to the full, it was time to go.
God said, I’m going to use Israel to do that because God can use anybody, anytime to fulfill His purpose.
Exodus 34:6––this is when God passes and lets Moses see his backside: “And the LORD passed by before him and proclaimed, ‘The LORD, the LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth, keeping mercy to the thousandth generation, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, but Who will by no means clear the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children’s children, to the third and to the fourth generation’” (vs 6-7).
Because that’s the God we serve. He’s a God of love, He’s a God of mercy, but He’s also a God of justice! He knows that this flesh and this life is not all there is, that He can and will use it as punishment:
for our mistakes
for our sins
for our iniquities
I include myself because we all have human nature, we all sin! Yes, we all need forgiveness, but that doesn’t mean that we will not reap the consequences of our actions!
But we do serve a merciful, loving God! Amazing thing that He declares about himself.
Exo. 35––there’s a command and we’re going to see something very interesting on the heels of what God declared Himself to be. He is a merciful, loving, patient, forgiving God!
Exodus 35:1: “And Moses gathered all the congregation of the children of Israel together and said to them, ‘These are the words which the LORD has commanded, for you to do them. Six days shall work be done, but on the seventh day there shall be to you a Holy Day, a Sabbath of rest to the LORD. Whoever does work in it shall be put to death’” (vs 1-2).
Amazing! It sounds harsh and people do not understand it. They can’t compute and they say ‘it was a mean and harsh God in the Old Testament, but now Jesus is loving and kind.’ NO, He is the same One! But what we have to understand is that God has a plan. He has a Last Great Day. He has a period of judgment after the Millennium.
Verse 3: “You shall kindle no fire throughout your living places upon the Sabbath Day.”
Now we’re going to read an example of when this was broken. It was actually the first time that this Commandment––as far as something that was written––was written about somebody breaking this Commandment! It appears presumptuously or willingly.
Without understanding the meaning of this Last Great Day:
we cannot understand these Scriptures
we cannot understand how a loving God can be like this
how He can kill a person, put someone to death, or ask the people to put someone to death, for breaking the Sabbath
But with this plan, knowing that He not only knows the attitude, He knows the thoughts and intents of the heart!
That’s the Word of God. That’s the One Who gave these Commandments. He can see when we keep the Commandments, whether we keep them full of:
love
appreciation
thankfulness
joy
or whether we’re keeping it out of
just being afraid
just trying to do it because we know better
just out of obligation
He knows that!
Numbers 15:32: “And while the children of Israel were in the wilderness, they found a man gathering sticks on the Sabbath Day.”
Interesting; you can read on your own. For sake of time, we’re not going to go there. But right before this, what is given is the law of sacrifices and the sacrifices for sins that were committed in ignorance.
But then God says that, but the one who acts presumptuously––with knowledge, with intention––to go against God, then that person shall be cut out from your people! That’s what it says.
Verse 33: “And those who found him gathering sticks brought him to Moses and Aaron and to all the congregation. And they put him under guard because it had not been clearly said what should be done to him” (vs 33-34).
It had been clearly said! But maybe there was, debate:
whether he did it presumptuously
whether he did it in ignorance
whether he did it in error
whether he wasn’t aware that it was a Sabbath Day
The people were trying to be merciful to this person, but they didn’t know what to do.
Verse 35: And the LORD said to Moses, ‘The man shall surely be put to death....’”––because God is the same yesterday, today, and forever!
That doesn’t mean that today we can exact capital punishment for that, because we are not in a theocracy anymore. This was the country of Israel, the land of Israel, where God was their King, and those laws were the laws of the land. That’s another topic for another message. But we know that we cannot do that today! This was the consistency of God, knowing that there’s a Last Great Day, that there’s an opportunity for this man to repent and to really get to know God!
“...‘The man shall surely be put to death. All the congregation shall stone him with stones outside the camp.’ And all the congregation brought him outside the camp and stoned him with stones, and he died, even as the LORD commanded Moses” (vs 35-36). That’s an amazing thing!
Then we see how he may have been, you know, based on misremembering or something, because that’s when the tassel things come about.
Make fringes so that you remember (v 38) But it sounds harsh. It sounds harsh to put someone to death for breaking the Sabbath one time. But that’s what God determined, because of this day, this day is the answer!
We’re going to see that it wasn’t just going to be for them. We’re going to see that God didn’t just do it like for one person. He didn’t do it just for a group of people that were not called. Israel also sinned, and sinned in a grave way! The punishment for that was death. We’re going to read about it, but we’re going to see that this is actually:
because of God’s mercy
because He understands
because He has a plan
because He has declared this plan
Immediately after this, it says:
Numbers 16:1: Now Korah, the son of Izhar, the son of Kohath, the son of Levi, took both Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab, and On, the son of Peleth, sons of Reuben; even they rose up before Moses with some of the children of Israel, two hundred and fifty leaders of the assembly... [this was not a small group] chosen men of the congregation, men who were well-known” (vs 1-2).
Verse 3: “And they gathered themselves against Moses and against Aaron, and said to them, ‘You take too much upon you since all the congregation are Holy, every one of them, and the LORD is among them. Why then do you lift yourselves up above the congregation of the LORD?’”
He was telling Moses that He was lifting up himself above the congregation, which we know was not true!
Then the LORD gets angry at them, and He wants to destroy them. We’re going to see what was the response from Moses to Korah:
Verse 8: “And Moses said to Korah, ‘Hear now you sons of Levi: Is it too little a thing to you that the God of Israel has separated you from the congregation of Israel to bring you near to Himself to do the service of the tabernacle of the LORD and to stand before the congregation to minister to them?’” (vs 8-9).
Meaning you’re special. Don’t do these things!
Verse 10: “And He... [the LORD] ...has brought you near, and all your brothers the sons of Levi with you. And do you seek the priesthood as well?”
This is very interesting because he’s acting presumptuously.
Verse 11: “Therefore, you and all your company are gathered against the LORD... [He’s warning them] ...And what is Aaron, that you murmur against him?’ And Moses sent to call Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab. And they said, ‘We will not come up’” (vs 11-12).
You can see the response because that’s what happens when somebody is seared. God says that it’s better that they sleep, the sleep of death, until the resurrection, until this Last Great Day.
They responded to Moses
“...And they said, ‘We will not come up.’”
Verse 13: “Is it too little a thing that you have brought us up out of a land that flows with milk and honey... [that is not the truth] ...to kill us in the wilderness, but must you also make yourself a prince over us? Besides, you have not brought us into a land that flows with milk and honey, nor given us inheritance in fields and vineyards. Will you put out the eyes of these men? We will not come up’” (vs 13-14).
You see the rebellion? This is the rebellion of Dathan and Abiram. This is what happens. That’s why God is going to do an amazing thing.
This is what God told Moses that he was going to do. You know about this story, but we’re just reading it to see the rebellion that God sees. That God is not a respecter of persons. It’s not just because there were pagan nations, because He had not revealed Himself to them. It was not just because it was the Sabbath or one person. This applies to everyone all the time!
Verse 20: “And the LORD spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying, ‘Separate yourselves from among this congregation, so that I may devour them in a moment’” (vs 20-21).
God was willing and ready to destroy the entire congregation!
Verse 22: “And they fell upon their faces...”
This is the fear of God that Moses and Aaron had for God, and the zeal for God!
“...and said, ‘O God, the God of the spirits of all flesh, shall one man sin and will You be angry with all the congregation?’” (v 22).
Then God says that He’s going to do something different.
Verse 23: “And the LORD spoke to Moses saying, ‘Speak to the congregation saying, “Get away from the tents of Korah and Dathan and Abiram”’”(vs 23-24).
Okay, they’re all rebellious, they all have the same attitude; but we’re going to do it just for them to see IF they learn the lesson!
Verse 28: “And Moses said, ‘By this you shall know that the LORD has sent me to do all these works, and that I have not done them from my own heart’[because Moses never set himself like that] ...IF these men die the common death of all men, or if they are visited according to the fate of all men, the LORD has not sent me.... [because the LORD sent Him] ...But IF the LORD creates a new creation, and the earth opens her mouth and swallows them up with all that they have, and they go down alive into the pit, THEN you shall understand that these men have provoked the LORD’” (vs 29-30). It’s incredible what happens!
Verse 31: “And it came to pass, as he had made an end of speaking all these words...”
God is always there
He’s always hearing
He’s always listening
As soon as he was done speaking:
“...the ground under them split apart. And the earth opened her mouth and swallowed them up, and their households, and all the men who were for Korah, and all their goods. They and all that they had went down alive into the pit, and the earth closed upon them. And they perished from among the congregation” (vs 31-33).
Verse 34: “And all Israel around them fled at their cry. For they said, ‘Lest the earth swallow us up also.’”
Yes, they were just as rebellious; but God was executing this judgment at that time. This is an amazing thing. Because when we think about it, it was everybody went in the earth. The earth swallowed them up alive! Incredible thing.
because God has the Last Great Day
because God has hope for His people
and not only for His people, but for ALL who have ever lived, ‘the rest of the dead.’
Now we’re going to see whether the people learned that lesson. God was ready to destroy the entire congregation. But even like that, even seeing them fall and being swallowed up by the earth, they still didn’t learn the lesson!
Verse 41: But on the next day all the congregation of the children of Israel murmured against Moses and against Aaron saying, ‘You have killed the people of the LORD.’”
Amazing! The evil and the human reasoning and the human thinking going on, the level of human reasoning going on, to say that they killed them, that that was not of God! Incredible! Incredible! They did not learn the lesson. We see, first, these men come, 250 people. Now all of these people die. It’s an amazing thing, because that’s what happened.
Verse 35: “And there came out a fire from the LORD and burned up the two hundred and fifty men who offered incense.”
All the companies were swallowed up. Then the 250 that came, they were burned up, fire from God. Now the people are accusing Moses and Aaron that they did it!
Verse 42: “And it came to pass when the congregation was gathered together against Moses and against Aaron, they looked toward the tabernacle of the congregation. And behold, the cloud covered it, and the glory of the LORD appeared. And Moses and Aaron came before the tabernacle of the congregation. And the LORD spoke to Moses saying, ‘Get away from this congregation so that I may consume them as in a moment.’ And they fell upon their faces” (vs 42-45).
It’s like God had enough of them! He knew it’s better that they were raised in the period of judgment! It’s better!
Verse 46: “And Moses said to Aaron, ‘Take a censer, and put fire in it from the altar, and put on incense, and go quickly into the congregation and make an atonement for them. For wrath has gone out from the LORD. The plague has begun.’ And Aaron did as Moses commanded and ran into the midst of the congregation. And behold, the plague had begun among the people. And he put on incense and made an atonement for the people. And he stood between the dead and the living, and the plague was stayed” (vs 46-48).
God actually stopped the plague for the sake of Moses and Aaron! But listen to what it says.
Verse 49: “And those who died in the plague were fourteen thousand, seven hundred, besides the ones who died about the matter of Korah.”
Over 15,000 people died in those two days because of their rebellion. How do we make sense of that? That His own people He put to death because of their rebellion. The Last Great Day is the answer!
This Last Great Day is the answer because He gives us understanding about:
the character of God
the love of God
the love that He has for His people, and for ALL the people that He has ever created!
Ezek. 37––We don’t have time to read it all, but we’re going to read a few verses because this is very important. This connects these themes.
We see 15,000 people died here because of their rebellion, but we’re going to see what happens in Ezek. 37 because it’s specifically talking about Israel!
It’s specifically talking about the people that we just read about. But we read about other peoples, we read about the people of God in the wilderness, one single person, the judgment! We know about the Judgment of God in The Last Great Day! That will come. That will be an opportunity.
Ezekiel 37:1: “The hand of the LORD was on me, and brought me by the Spirit of the LORD, and set me down in the midst of a valley, and it was full of bones. And He made me walk among them all around. And behold, very many were in the open valley. And lo, they were very dry. And He said to me, ‘Son of man, can these bones live?....” (vs 1-3).
We’re going to see that they’re going to live, but we’re also going to see there’s a physical life!
“...And I answered, ‘O Lord GOD, You know.’ Again He said to me, ‘Prophesy to these bones, and say to them, “O dry bones, hear the Word of the LORD. Thus says the Lord GOD to these bones, ‘Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and you shall live. And I will lay sinews on you, and will bring up flesh on you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and you shall live. And you shall know that I am the LORD.’”’(vs 3-6).
Verse 7: “So, I prophesied as I was commanded. And as I prophesied, there was a noise. And behold, a shaking! And the bones came together, a bone to its bone. And as I watched, behold the sinews and the flesh came upon them, and the skin covered them above. But there was no breath in them” (vs 7-8)
No life, yet, and it were bones, and skin, and flesh. This is physical life! This is NOT spirit beings!
Verse 9: “And He said to me, ‘Prophesy to the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, “Thus says the Lord GOD, ‘Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe on these slain that they may live.’”’ So, I prophesied as He commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived and stood on their feet, an exceedingly great army” (vs 9-10).
This sounds just like when God created Adam and He breathed on him the breath of life! He prophesied that the wind would come and breathe in them the breath of life, the human breath, the human spirit!
Verse 11: “And He said to me, ‘Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel....’”
God knew that they were going to live
He knew that they were going to have a physical life
He knew exactly who they were
He explains it to them, the whole house of Israel, including those 15,000 we just read about. That’s what this day is!
This is the day of the second resurrection! “The rest of the dead did not live again.”
There were some that lived again, first resurrection, living and reigning with Christ for a thousand years, this Feast of Tabernacles. Now is the day for the rest of the dead, the whole house of Israel!
“‘...Behold, they say, “Our bones are dried and our hope is lost; we ourselves are completely cut off”’” (v 11). But what does God say? No, it’s not!
Verse 12: “Therefore, prophesy and say to them, “Thus says the Lord GOD, ‘Behold, O My people, I will open your graves and cause you to come up out of your graves...’”
That’s what Jesus said! They will hear the voice of the Son of Man! Another proof that He’s the same One Who became flesh.
“...‘I will open your graves and cause you to come up out of your graves, and will bring you into the land of Israel. And you shall know that I am the LORD when I have opened your graves’ And you shall know that I am the LORD when I have opened your graves” (v 12-13). I will give you understanding.
“...‘O My people, and have brought you up out of your graves.... [and the most important thing]: ...And I shall put My Spirit in you...’” (vs 13-14). The Holy Spirit in them! An opportunity for salvation!
The Last Great Day! That’s what this day is all about. This is the day that provides the answers! This is the greatest day!
This is the day of completion of the Plan of God, of this space of the Plan of God anyways, because there’s a new heavens and a new earth. But this is the completion of it. I will put My Spirit in you and you shall live, truly live!
That’s what Jesus said. The ones that are dead shall hear His voice and shall live.
“...and I will place you in your own land...’” (v14).
That was the desire of God from the beginning. This is the culmination, this is the consummation of the Plan of God. All of His Plans will be fulfilled!
He says in Isaiah that His Word will do what He sends it to do.
“‘...And you shall know that I the LORD have spoken it and have done it,’ says the LORD’” (v 14)––signed again; this is My signature!
I will bring you up
I will give you life
I will reveal Myself to you
I will put you in your own land that I wanted you to have from the very beginning
this is the love that I have for you
This is not just for Israel, this is for the rest of the dead. But He’s going to accomplish that for Israel, as well.
Rev. 20––just to read a few more details about this great period of judgment. we did not read that. It says more about the 8th day, The Last Great Day, the meaning of it.
Revelation 20:11: “Then I saw a great white throne, and the one who was Then I saw a Great White Throne and the One Who was sitting on it, from Whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and no place was found for them.
Verse 12: And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God... [this is the rest of the dead] ... small and great. and the books were opened...”
What are the books? The books of all their works! But it’s a period of judgment.
“...and another book was opened, which is the Book of Life.... [an opportunity for names to be written in the Book of Life...” (v 12).
That’s what He said, ‘I will put in you My Spirit.’ That is an example of what’s going to happen. It’s not just for Israel, it’s going to be for ‘the rest of the dead.’ He does not exclude anybody else. He doesn’t leave anybody behind.
“...And the dead were judged... [anybody who has been dead is the rest of the dead] ... out of the things written in the books, according to their works.13: And the sea gave up the dead that were in it...” (vs 12-13).
This is all of it This is everybody who has been dead, regardless of whether they were at sea or on the ground.
“...and death and the grave gave up the dead that were in them” (v 13).
there is an opportunity for salvation
there is an opportunity to know God
God promised that He was going to put His Spirit in them. In all who had ever lived! What an amazing day this is! This is The Last Great Day!
“...and they were judged individually, according to their works” (v 13). This is the culmination of this part of the Plan of God!
Verse 14: “And death and the grave were cast into the Lake of Fire. This is the second death.”
Meaning there is no more, there is no more physical death. You either die the second death in the Lake of Fire IF you reject God, or you live forever in His Kingdom!
That’s it! That’s it! There’s no eternal punishment for physical people! There isn’t such a thing.
Verse 15: “And if anyone was not found written in the Book of Life, he was cast into the Lake of Fire.”
That’s what we’re talking about. That consumes and ends that life that doesn’t want to be with God! That’s the punishment. The punishment is the Lake of Fire. That’s what it says!
Verse 15: “And IF anyone was not found written in the Book of Life...”
Because they were all given an opportunity to be in the Book of Life. That’s what we saw. That’s the amazing thing! God declares how great He is.
Isa. 2––we’re going to see a couple of Scriptures that talk about this very thing, talk about:
the mercy of God
the Plan of God
the goodness of God
We’re going to see that He says the same things that it says in Revelation in some cases, because it is an amazing thing. The Word of God, it’s ONE, and it’s consistent, and it’s beautiful, because God knows best! God knows that the flesh profits nothing. That’s what Jesus said in John 6, ‘The flesh profits nothing.’ That’s not the point.
In our small minds, some of these punishments may seem too harsh, but in God’s mind, it’s what’s needed! It’s what’s needed because He knows that He will see them again,
that He will open their eyes
that He will put His Spirit in them
that He will give them that opportunity
to know Him
to love Him
to be with Him in His Kingdom for all eternity
Isaiah 2:2: “And it shall come to pass, in the last days the mountain of the LORD’S house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and ALL nations shall flow into it.” What will they say?
Verse 3: “And many people shall go and say, ‘Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob. And He will teach us of His ways...”
That’s what we read in Ezek. 37. “I will put my spirit in you.”
“‘...and we will walk in His paths.’ For out of Zion shall go forth the Law, and the Word of the LORD from Jerusalem” (v 3). That’s what will happen!
Verse 4: “And He shall judge among the nations...”
Isn’t that what we saw? Jesus said in Matthew, that judgment has been given to Him! Not just Israel, the nations!
“...and shall rebuke many people...” (v 4). Meaning they still have things to change! They still have things to do. It’s not done.
“...and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war anymore” (v 4). War is done!
Isa. 25––there is a great connection here with the meaning of the Last Great Day. It explains a lot of the things that we just read in Rev. 20. Because this is prophetic. This is what’s going to happen.
Isaiah 25:6: “And in this mountain the LORD of hosts shall make a feast of fat things for all the people...”
We saw the eighth day, the Last Great Day, is:
“...a feast of wines on the lees, of fat things full of marrow, of refined wines on the lees. And He will destroy in this mountain the face of the covering, which covers ALL people, and the veil that is woven over ALL nations” (vs 6-7).
Take a minute to process that. This is the Last Great Day. That veil that is woven over ALL people, over ALL nations. That’s why this is talking about the Last Great Day.
He will destroy that covering
He will let them see Him for Who He really is
Today we’ve seen that:
God is good
God is righteous
God is merciful
God has a plan
This is what we just read, death and the grave were cast into the Lake of Fire!
Verse 8: “He will destroy death forever... [there will be no more death] ...and the Lord God will wipe away tears from all faces....”
There’s not going to be a single face that is not wet with tears :
for seeing the Creator
for loving Him
for knowing Who He really is, and Who He was all along: The Creator God of all the earth
“...And He shall take away from all the earth the rebuke of His people, for the LORD has spoken it. And one shall say in that day, ‘Lo, this is our God. We have waited for Him, and He will save us’” (vs 8-9).
This is the Last Great Day! This is the Day of Salvation!
“...This is the LORD; we have waited for Him, we will be glad and rejoice in His salvation’” (v 9).
Tremendous! There is nothing like this! Absolutely nothing like this day! This is the Day of Salvation.
Psa. 117––talks about this very thing. This is all prophesied. This is showing the unity of Scripture, the inspiration of God throughout all the ages.
to all His servants
to Moses and to David
to His very own Son Jesus Christ Himself
This is the inspiration in all of the Word of God for this Last Great Day. With this Psalm we will finish the Feast for 2026.
Psalm 117:1: “O praise the LORD, all you nations; praise Him, all people, for His merciful kindness is great toward us; and the Truth of the LORD endures forever. Praise the LORD!” (vs 1-2)
